Blogspot is confusing!

Ok, so I am  struggling with how this works. I think I might need some help with Blogspot. I may be calling on a few of you to help me. I have another blog, I know how to blog, I just don't know how to figure this system out. I just want to learn how to make mine pretty... Am I dumb??? 

Maybe I should go to bed and try and figure this out later : )
